I was quite frustrated yesterday. The 'Beige G3' that is my server, among many other functions, was giving my an 'System Error type 11' every time I started up from a hard drive. All I did was to open and take some pci cards out to take pictures of them and it does this to me? Ughhh. Nevertheless, feeling tired I left it till tomorrow when I would get down to business.
The next arrived and I began the long arduos venture of removing and replacing parts to see what crapped out on me. I started with the RAM and moved on to the various third-party pci cards. Everything was doing fine and the machine managed to boot up perfectly each time.
Finally, I got the last step of my plan for fixing it. That was, of course, to put everything back in the condition is was in when it started being problematic. What do ya know, it boots up just fine. Hmmm. For now, I'm going to leave it at that. I'm just happy to have it running fine again.
Sadly though, it's not recognizing my USB gamepad anymore. Not a serious problem, but one that is somewhat annoying. Fortunately, its one that has happened before.
Well, today is a great day. Today is the day that the 'Gardens of Aiur' produces its first wallpaper. This wallpaper happens to feature the character 'Shippo' from the anime series 'Inuyasha'.

This wallpaper is special in another way. It is my first wallpaper that used a vector image. I used Adobe Illustrator in order to slowly convert a grainy/bad image of Shippo into this. Not bad for my second try at vector-ing.
The wallpaper itself isn't one of my best. The image behind Shippo is one from 'Mononoke Hime'. It seemed apt since it fit very well with Inuyasha's scenery.
