December 2006 Archives
You wanna guess the price? If not, it was one whole dollar.
Now that I think about it, it was a strange place to find such an item. Whatever.
That iPod image is going to be used as the 'icon' for any iPod posts from now on.
Greetings again internet reader(s). I have something for you here on the Gardens.
I found via the Intarnets a neato javascript framework. This particular framework allows for easy usage of many neat and dynamic things on your site. Drag-and-drop things, dynamic lists, and animation things mostly. The possibilities are fun to imagine (I don't really have a use for most of those features on this site).
If you look on the 'panels' on the sides of this page, you'll most likely see one of these,
Just give it a click and see what happens.
Hopefully it works on the particular browser you are using. If not, its not a very important feature at this point. I don't really know if it will ever be important here. Fun, though.
This particular game is called Matrix Rampage. Its a good running-around-and-shooting-things type of game. In fact, that's all you do. It's still addictively fun, though. I don't remember the agents from 'The Matrix' having ray/photon blaster-type guns. But, whatever.
Why don't you take your internet surfing self over there and give 'er a try, eh?
Po, ta, toes.

Since I've been living in this apartment, I've been gathering 'crap' (generic term for all my stuff) at an alarming rate. In fact, I have boxes of stuff that I have no idea why I still have them.
The problem with all this crap is that when I go to move (inevitable) I won't like moving all of it. If the last I moved was with less crap then I have now, I will most definately not like the next move. Plus, I just need to be 'mobile'.
I'll probably be working on that as I also work on some of my more important Agenda 'items'.
See you on the flipside, Yo!
I've just got back up today from staying down at Mom and Dad's for the holidays. I have to say that it was an enjoyable stay. Hmm, don't have much else to say for the moment.
Be sure to check out my Flickr thing every now and then. I will be putting up more photos soon.
Greetings again loyal internet reader(s). I'll be on vacation for a few days. Its the holidays, ya know. So, my posts will be somewhat sparce for a bit. Until after Christmas Day, at least.
What you want?!?

Why am I just not getting done with it, you ask? It is only a 2 hour plus movie, eh? That's because I've been watching it in small parts. Not the best way to watch a movie but more economical (time-wise) for me.
The last time I watched an hour or so of it I was in my room a couple of hours or so before I go to sleep. At this time, I'm usually watching Adultswim before bed but I've gotten somwhat tired of seeing the same episodes of Futurama and Family Guy over and over. Don't get me wrong, I love Futurama and I don't mind Family Guy but I don't want to get sick of 'em. So, I need something new to do during that time.
Watching long ass movies are a good way to spend it, I suppose. Better than 'nuthin.
Sorry 'bout the delay since the last post. There was a disturbance in the force
Hmm, well. I don't have much to talk 'bout, but I do have to update today as part of my almost-daily plan. Thinking
I've been playing quite a bit of Avernum IV lately. I have to say it's quite fun. Its retro styled graphics fit the bill just right. Especially when I get tired of playing other games.
In other words, I get tired of World of Warcraft quite quickly these days. Its fun but rather repetitive after a wihle.
Anyhoo, I don't play games to socialize. Even in the virtual world of Azeroth, I don't like joining groups and such. My paladin can solo quite well. So, its never really stopped me from playing. Yep.
I feel like I'm rambling on about crap. Well, that was my aim in this entry. Until next time.

Sometimes I miss the good 'ole days of TM-Anime. I got traffic back then. People would send email telling me how they liked a certain one of my wallpapers.
I still get visitors here, but just not even close to a fraction of what I used to get. Damn newfangled kids and their Web 2.0. Damn rounded rectangles and cheesy-ass colors. I really don't know what that has to do with anything. I just wanted to say it.
Oh yea, the new wallpaper is in the 'Computer Related' category on the right.
I don't think my 'fix' to the problem I'm having with my Mustang worked. In fact, I think it might have made the problem worse. Ughh. That makes Thomas angry.
In other news, MacAddict, the magazine, is chaging their name to Mac | Life. What kind of generic-ass name is that?
Sorry for the lack of good updates yesterday. I've just visiting my Mom and Dad's this weekend. Plus, I'm trying to work on my car some. Mind you, my knowledge on car-related things is somewhat limited. I fear that I'm going to make things worse and not better at all.
Still, though, its better than not doing anything.
I was shopping at Wal-Mart for some cheap food when, as I was going through the stationary section, I noticed printable magnet sheets. I instantly got them despite my better judgement.
Just think of the fun one could have with one of these. Hell, you could make your own magnets for your fridgermarator. You wouldn't have to use those damn ad magnets anymore.
I'll have to end this entry here for I have to go think of things to do with 'em.

Its not really a new wallpaper or anything. The thing is that I always liked the box art 3dfx used back in the day to package their cards. Plus, I owned a Voodoo 5500 card at one time. I quite liked it.
Use the 'Wallpaper' menu to the right to access the 'Computer-related' section.
So, here is a wallpaper made out of the image used on the Voodoo 5500's box.
Don't worry, I'm working on some more wallpapers. At least one of them is anime-related.
In my continued quest to properly cool my hot-running gaming PC, I've devised a fun idea. Fun to build, at least.
I got my inspiration from looking at some custom computers cases others have built. Most of them were nice but required either money or skills I didn't possess. A few, though, fell within my sphere of ability. These cases were made out of cardboard. Yep, cardboard. I have lots of it around my room in the form of boxes that things were shipped in.
I haven't begun construction (ha, ha, ha) yet but I hope to by midday. I'll have to draw up some plans beforehand to make sure I don't go wasting cardboard. Its a precious commodity in the Kingdom of Thomas.
Well, I just got back from Wal-Mart not long ago. I used about $13.00 out of the $20.00, via gift card, I had to spend. Luckily, though, with that $13.00 I was able to get something to eat for supper, something to snack on, and something to drink. Enough to keep me going for a bit.
I've been meaning to sell some of the miscellaneous crap I have laying around my room on eBay. The fact that I am in many ways the epitome of laziness doesn't help to get that done. Mind you, it could also be that I won't be able to snag very much in the way of money on any one thing. I would have to sell a lot to get something significant.
Ha ha ha, I'm in ur base killin' ur dudez...
