INTERNETS!!
I have the internets. A quick call to my cable provider quickly solved the problem and the internets can be travelled once again.
Its sad to see that just losing the internets for a day will put me in such a bad mood. Doesn't speak well about my character. Not at all well.
It sounds like you need an internets intervention. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
eh, don't worry about it. I went without the internet for a day and a half in Cleveland, and I swear to god I was pulling hair out of my head by the end. The internet isn't a toy anymore -- it's _information_, and anyone goes crazy when they're cut off form information.
(by the way, calling up was the right thing to do -- sometimes their stuff goes down, and they can't always watch every single person's connection to see what happens.)
Calling places does help! Yesterday I got home and our power was cut off. We always pay our bill on time, and, seeing as this is a new place, we haven't even gotten a bill for this month.
Apparently, the lady that took our deposit, didn't do her job right. An hour later it was back on.
My other idea was to sit here in the dark and wait for Matthew to get home.
And, Tom, its understandable. Without school, I'd be pretty fucking bored too. Even during semesters, I spend a few hours on the internet a day.
